Cleveland, Ohio Speed Traps

Trap is located on I-71 North in the southern Suburbs of Cleveland (Middleburg Heights). As you approach exit 234, there is a rise. On the other side of the rise/bridge, there is a hiding spot on the left side of the highway. This spot commonly used by police to clock cars during spring, summer and fall. Sometimes there is one clocker and multiple chase cars. Speed limit is 60, which is a tad low. Enforcement is not horrible, but it is common. Cops are also known to hunt the same location, but on the south-bound lanes.

Note: I have not been nailed at this spot. This just happens to be where I exit for work.

Cop will sit in one of the parking lots on the south side of Harvard, and watch people getting off the Rt 77 exits and travelling East on Harvard, and also (but not so much) cars travelling West on Harvard towards Rt 77.

This trap is after the big turn on Lake Erie goign east in I-90.There is a cop there it seems almost constantly clocking peope as they come aroudn the bend.

1 Laser/Radar car on the briidge, looking onto I90 east or west and 5 to 6 chase cars to hand out tickets for excessive speed. They do move this senario to different parts of the city.

As you cross a bridge and start down a hill, as many as four police cars will be waiting to the right and left hidden by the bridge walls and a sound barrier.
