Cleveland, Ohio Speed Traps

This trap is so sleazy and is almost ALWAYS around at the end of the month. Just past the West Side Market (if you are coming from the downtown side) is a tiny freeway overpass that curves to the right. As many as 3-4 cop cars will hide just around the bend on the other side of the overpass and give out tickets like they’re party favors. The speed limit is 25 but everyone is going 35+. The 25 MPH limit is not necessary until you hit the bars and stores, but it is in effect on the entire street which is VERY long.

First of all those boys from N.Olmsted don’t, from the time you see Grayton, you better do the speed limit. They are out in full force. Not just at the Grayton Rd exit but through to after the Sterns Road exit and until you get to Rt 10 so you had better be careful, its funny because they always get someone every single morning West and Eastbound.

One cop stands on top of motorcycle to shoot over the protective fence. 3-4 cruisers and bikes just west of bridge. Careful coming into this area since lazy cops do not want to actually move so they try to wave offenders over from the side of the road!! Mass confusion and near collisions follow!!

The speed Limit on the bride is 25mph. There is almost always a police car posted at either end of the bridge.

Watch yourself when you start going downhill. Cop sits on the sidewalk under the bridge and waits and watches as you accelerate to 45 in this 25 mph zone (should be 35).
