Summit View Road

Columbus, OhioJan 17, 20120 Comments

Perry township officer parks alongside drainage area on Summit View Road between Sawmill Rd and Smokey Row Rd. They clock people coming down the hill from Sawmill where the speed is 45 MPH. When you turn on Summit View it is 35 MPH. It is a speed trap because you cannot see the Perry township police car until you start down the hill – by that time he has you clocked.

Police sit behind the backside of stores, specifically Famous Footwear, under the trees. Through street is Easton Way. Cannot always see from the road due to landscaping.

Car cop and on occassion bike cops sit under the bridge in the shade in total darkness clocking people. When it’s the bike cops I personally have seen where 1 cop radars while the other 2 chase and when they are done have driven THE WRONG WAY on 71N on the berm to get back to their buddy under the bridge so they can turn around and go after someone else.

between Fair Ave and Broad Street on James Rd

Columbus, OhioMar 28, 20110 Comments

There is a slight upward slope as you cross fair AveI(North on James Road). As soon as you pass slope with little acceleration, slope drop (before you decrease your speed) and you will be greeted by officers on bike in church parking lot.
