Watch for the bear in the air! I’ve been pulled over and I have seen numerous people pulled over here. They have an officer hiding on the on-ramp and get your speed from the air and radio down to the car waiting on the ground.

315 South, South of Bethel Rd

Right after you get on the 315 South Freeway from Bethel Road you will see a white 55 MPH sign, about 200 yards just south of that sign you will see a new sign that at the very top of the sign it says WORK AREA and talks about double fines etc. Even though you haven’t seen a sign saying it is 45 MPH yet since the sign just described says WORK AREA it is actually 45 MPH from that sign on. You have to go a long way past that sign before you actually see a 45 MPH sign so the police can give you a ticket saying that you were speeding in a work zone even though you just went by a sign that said 55 MPH

Perry Township police have setup a speed trap using the parking lot of a church. They are hiding back in the parking lot driveway and had an office hiding behind a tree using a radar to nail people. They are not using their lights with anyone they have pulled over, they walk out into the street and wave you into the parking lot. I am still trying to figure out how they got 47 on me – I’d believe 37 since my odometer didnt touch 40 through there. When they waved me – I had no idea what was going on and the cop was belligerant with me. They also didnt ask for registration or proof of insurance. I could swear both of these were required in this state but maybe I am wrong. I also didnt realize it was legal to hide and trap people like this. So beware all….

County will sit in center median area. If eastbound you cannot see them until you come over the hill. If westbound your sightline is blocked by the Alum Creek overpass.
