Hefner Parkway from I44 North

Oklahoma City, OklahomaAug 15, 20100 Comments

Anytime of the day you can find motorcycle officers working Hefner Parkway and parts of I44 from NW 10th Street to Memorial Road. This has been designated by the local PD as a hot zone due to numerous accidents and they watch it all times of the day with unmarked cruisers and motorcycle officers. They seem to come from nowhere and cannot figure out where they hide.

Eastern – Between Wilshire and NE 63rd st

Oklahoma City, OklahomaJul 13, 20100 Comments

Going South on Eastern as you pass Wilshire the speed limit drops from 50 to 40. There’s enough of a decline in the road that if you slow to 40 and then coast, you’ll be doing 50+ before you get to the bottom. Same thing going North from 63rd past the high school. It seems to be patrolled heaver during the school year.

Between 17th and 15 th and Robison bridge

Oklahoma City, OklahomaJul 12, 20100 Comments

The speed trap is always parked in the entrance to the park on the west side of the road. As you drive north and south the speed limit changes from one side of the bridge to the other. I personally received my first ticket there.

I 35 and I 240 the down town cross over bridge

Oklahoma City, OklahomaJul 12, 20100 Comments

Every time I go into the city to go across town there is a speed trap. One facing one way and another facing the other. As your driving west on 240 as you pass I 35 right there they sit. Just right before you hit the down town bridge.
