Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Speed Traps
N. May between NW 150th & NW 164th
Unmarked dark red cop car. Look for 3 antennas on the roof inline from front to back. Watch speed when going downhill or after just climbing uphill to the plateau. Often hides behind neighborhood fence to catch north bound drivers entering the school area.
Oklahoma
Just beware that it is holiday DUI season in Oklahoma. The police will pull over anyone who seems suspicious.
Sooner Rd
Sooner Road between SE 104th st and SE 149th. 50mph zone while people routinely do 60mph.
Behind Lowe’s on Memorial Road
There is a road at the side of Lowe’s from Memorial that curves into Penn.
This is a wide, seldom traveled road. All of a sudden there is a stop sign.
The cops hide behind the Lowe’s and wait for people to float the stop sign.
I-240 Tinker traffic BEWARE!
I-240 westbound from Douglas Blvd to Sunnylane is one of the most frequent speed traps I’ve ever seen, anywhere. I drive it twice a day, every day. All departments, marked and unmarked OKCPD cars, marked OHP, OKCPD motorcycles, they hide under the overpasses in the shadows or completely out of sight behind the water barrels throughout the day. They target Tinker employees, and know when the shifts end, lunch breaks, etc. You are practically guaranteed an unfair ticket if you speed through this area enough times.
