Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Speed Traps

Usually an unmarked police car will be siiting on the east side of Braodway just south of the curve by the bakery before you get to the fire station. This officer is shooting both north and south bound lanes. Usually he is there from about 5pm until 10pm sometimes later. Beware tickets start at $161.00 and go up. He will write for as little as 5mph over and the speed limit is a ridiculious 30 mph anyway!

Officer stated they have been instructed to issue tickets on 104th.

motocycle cops behind contruction signs ( you are not able to see them until you pass) shooting radar early AM mostly. of course you have the raid cops also. state also parks under the bridge or on grass on a get off ramp and somehow picks traffic out with radar.

If you are east bound on NW 23rd and are stopped at the signal light wanting to turn right onto Classen, you better wait for a green light. There is a No Turn On Red sign there. The cop that stopped me at 10:00 AM said that I was the 7th person that morning that he had ticketed for making a right turn on red. I never saw the sign myself.

Rush hour after work, same guy, dip in road will pickup 6-7 mph and he gets you coming out of that seems to pick you out of pack, has been going on for 4-5 months
