Speed limit changes quickly from 45 to 30. Mt. Juliet police sit in the church parking lot and hide in dirt and brush piles, stopping everyone from soccer moms late for practice to presidents of companies late for meetings.
State Route 70 near Lebanon Road
there is a garage called websters garage, at the top of the hill before you go into davidson county, and the mount juliet officers sit among the parked cars trying to be incospicuous and they run radar almost any time of day or night
Interstate I-40 near Exit Number 226
After the Mt. Juliet exit on I-40 westbound state troopers park on the opposite side of the dividing wall at the gap just before you cross into Davidson County.
Lebanon Pk and Mt Juliet Rd
If traveling through Mt Juliet down Lebanon Rd or Mt Juliet Rd you will most likely see multiple cops patrolling around. They often hide in parking lots or entrances to neighborhoods waiting for someone to go over the 40MPH speed limit. On Mt Juliet Rd there are no speed traps per se, but there are cops everywhere. There is also a cop that will sit on Nonaville Rd and wait for someone to go over the painfully slow 35MPH limit. If you travel through Mt Juliet, DO NOT go over 35 if you are unsure of the speed limit. If you are on Lebanon Rd or Mt Juliet Rd, don’t go over 40.
