Johnson road from Renfro to Wilshire Blvd is about 3 miles long but the speed limit is set at 30 MPH because there is a 200 yard frontage to Warren Park. The city police have started setting up daily. The 85 percentile average is close to 45 MPH but the limit remains set at 30 MPH.
Renfro Road near Alsbury Avenue
On west Renfro from Alsbury to McAlester road the speed limit is artificially low at 30 MPH. Twenty feet past McAlester it is still residential but the speed limit is 40 MPH. City police set up three blocks east of the 40 MPH speed limit and nail you with laser.

When driving into Burleson city limits (about 6 miles out of town completely in the country), the city cops are on motorcycles and radar off the service road and off the overpasses. Then there are police cars waiting ahead for your to pass them so that they can stop you and give a ticket.
