Carrollton, Texas Speed Traps

Carrollton uses their motorcycle cops to sit in the grassy median in between the lanes on the Highway 121 Bypass leading into Lewisville on Highway 121 Bypass to the south of Hebron Parkway. Traffic comes up a slight rise towards a bridge and the motorcycle cops are not easily visible. The bypass is the link between Hebron Parkway and IH 35E so it is high traffic. The posted speed limits are more for city streets and not a freeway link. Usually several motorcycles will be working this trap at one time for volume busts.

Luna Road runs through Beltline Road and into Broadway Road and change name to Old Denton Road.
the speed in Luna Road area is 45 m.p.h. but slow down to 40 m.p.h. near Broadway Road and Old Denton Road.

Right before the tunnel on Midway and Keller Springs a Addison SUV has been sitting there watching. I see him all the time now on my way to work. He’s usually sideways but lately has been facing West on Keller Springs.
