Cedar Park, Texas Speed Traps

When traveling South Bound after Cypress Creek speed limit goes from 50 to 55 then right before the construction across form the YMCA the speed limit drops to 45. Behing a barrior is a motorcycle cop shooting radar down the road going South. Be carefull, by the time you have seen him its too late.

Bagdad is watched fairly closely. Both Cedar Park cops and Leander cops are very quick to pull you over. Usual speed limit is 40, but watch out for school zones and construction.

On the new extension of Parmer Lane from 1431 headed towards Leander, this area is heavily patrolled by Williamson County and Cedar Park cops. Wilco cops will NOT cut you any slack. Also, around this intersection at 1431 and Parmer Lane, about 2 miles in any direction, it is not uncommon to see cops patrolling.

The speed limit is 30 here, and Cedar Park cops WILL NOT cut you any slack. There are many good hiding spots for cops on both sides of the road. On my last pass I saw one cruiser and one motorcycle. They also like to have one cop on foot doing radar for cruisers down the road.
