George Bush Park

Be weary of State Troopers that often drive around the park on Barker Cypress and Westheimer in the evenings. They run pop Ka band, and they know how to catch even the most experienced spotters. They often hide “blacked out” in the ditch on the side of the road. That said, my $70 Cobra detector would pick up on the pop alert from a mile away.

SouthBound TC Jester over Hill S. Of 11th st. towards I-10

Houston, TexasMar 20, 20140 Comments

As you go over the very large hill with a steep gradient, there’s an officer standing at the bottom on the right that will sit there at least once a month and write a large amount of tickets. It’s very easy to get going well over the speed limit as it takes a lot to get up the hill then even coasting down the hill will gain 10+ MPH on your vehicle.

7700 Bellaire/Beltway 8

4 Police total: One standing holding a lazer gun his partner pulling over the people and the other 2 writing tickets. The area is a construction site and these cops are right in the middle of it. Before even entering the site you have already been clocked. My ticket was for driving 30 on a 25! And while I was pulled over at least 5-6 cars were waiting to get a ticket as well…..too many for them to even handle!!! Oh and they set my court hour at 9:00 pm in downtown!! Really!
