Coit Road near Belt Line Road

In the late hours of the night, police like to hide in the McDonalds parking lot. Hidden behind the bushes, they are difficult to spot unless you are looking for them. I drove right past the bushes and didn’t even see them until I burned rubber turning into the McDonalds lot.

There were two units there, both cruisers. McDonalds was closed, so this was no midnight snack.

Be careful.

Belt Line Road near Richardson High School

Richardson, TexasFeb 19, 20040 Comments

A school zone that is 3 blocks long and is sometimes monitored by 3 police cars. Typically, one squad car is parked in the median in front of the school, but is obscured by a slight hill, 20 mph traffic and pedestrians as distractions. Richardson PD is very serious about this particular school zone.

at least one cop will be sitting in his car in the front of a neighborhood between los rios and brand rd on renner rd. he clocks everyone coming across the bridge who can’t see him and the people coming the opposite direction down the hill. I have seen them all the time.

Yale Boulevard

In the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon, there will be a cop in his car in front of a house with a radar enforcing a 20 mph speed limit at the 4 way stop in front of the elementary school and a high school. You must do the speed limit, or he will come after you.

US Highway 75 near Renner Road

Richardson, TexasJan 26, 20040 Comments

Southbound 75 frontage road from Renner. As you pass the bridge for Galatyn, there is frequently either a Crown Vic or motorcycle clocking people on the 50mph frontage road. If you keep an eye on the parking lot exits, you can usually see them before it’s too late, but there’s always somebody that gets it.
