Spring Valley and 75 – The Underground tunnel –

Keep your speeds down. While going through the tunnell officers stand on the other and and gun down to catch speeders.

School zone on Belt Line just after Floyd Rd. Sometimes you get the red light and when it turns green, you forget it was a school zone. I see police giving tickets out at least once a week.

The cops are on top of bridges and on the frontage roads using lasar radars on north and southbound traffic on the highway. I’ve been stopped twice now and got tickets both times. Lately I’ve seen 3 or 4 cops at a time with people stopped on the highway. Do not speed through Richardson.

North bound service road of HW75 between Campbell and Renner. There is a street right next to the Sleep Inn. Sunday afternoon about 3:00pm an unmark car, ugly brown color, sitting right there before the stop sign pretending waiting for the traffic to clear up. Window down, a cop with a speed gun pointed at the cars on the service road. Speed limit is like 45 mph but most people are going at least 60 because it’s a long stretch and just coming off expressway. Sunday afternoon 3PM? I was so amazed those Richardson cops are so devoted.

Occassionally (not as often as in the past) there are 1 to 2 motorcycle police sitting in a grove of trees just past the big bridge on Renner past Brand Rd and before Murphy Road just west of the FireStation. They will sit in the median and laser you as you come across the bridge and up the hill…they do quite a good job of grabbing people for speeding tickets.
