N. Peytonville Avenue near Laurel Lane
Motorcylce policemen on both sides of road normally. Just past Laurel Lane towards Dove Road a police car was sitting on the side of the road in between two heavily covering trees. He was facing north towards a hill getting speeders on their way down.
FM 1709 near Pearson Lane
The police like to sit in the parking lot in front of Justin’s convenience store, and ticket drivers traveling between Keller and Southlake.
State Highway 114 near Kimball Street
The goal of the traffic officers is to obtain enough revenue to pay for two additional Firefighters.. All through the town the speed limit is way completely unrealistic.
State Highway 114 near Southlake Boulevard
Motorcycle officers using LIDAR and radar hide on the center median behind the overpass support columns and target Westbound traffic (i.e., non-residents). Look for brake lights on cars ahead and watch your speed.
State Highway 114 near Kimball Road
On the newly opened portion of 114 in Southlake, there is a motorcycle cop that likes to sit under the overpass at the kimball Ave exit (going westbound on 114). It is the new bridge that says “welcome to Southlake”” on one side and “”welcome to Grapevine”” on the other…if he is not under that bridge he is usually lurking somewhere.”
