FM 1709 near Davis Boulevard

Southlake, TexasMar 27, 20061 Comments

When I am coming near the light at Davis Blvd. and 1709 in the morning during the week there is almost always one Soulthlake police officer and sometimes two with somebody pulled over on the left hand shoulder. Near the Quizno’s and the cleaners. I’m pretty sure they clocked the people speeding on 1709 and once they turned right onto Davis Blvd. they pulled them over. I’m telling you it’s there, Be Careful!

Kimball Road near State Highway 114

Southlake, TexasJun 19, 20040 Comments

Kimball is one of the dividing lines between G and S. They have been known to stop everyone and check for insurance and sobriety. Roadblocks are just awesome. They like the union hall about a mile from the highway. The posted speed limit is 30 to do this I generally just sort of coast. any acceleration at all just boosts me to somewhere over forty–which used to be the speed limit of this particular road
