They hide behind the cement railing on the right or on the left in a ditch at the end of the off ramp, (right before the first light) and the speed limit goes from 65 to 45 in about 25 feet and you’ll never notice if you don’t drive on this every day. They will nail you and enjoy doing it so don’t give them that pleasure!

State street just north of 3300 South

The speed limit changes from 45 mph to 35 mph once you cross 3300 S going north, and behold – a cruiser awaits you in case you happen to be actually paying attention to the road and not looking for speed traps. Good luck seeing a posted speed sign in that commercial zone.

7th East between 17th and 13th South.

Usually on east side of road monitoring northbound traffic. Can’t remember the name of the cross street, but it’s just after a gas station. Normally 2 motorcyle patrolmen, but during winter, a car or two. Usually let traffic flow at 50-55 in 45mph zone, but will pick off people by themselves that are speeding with no surrounding traffic.

UHP will sit on the feeder where they can see and tag I-15, when they see a speeder they pull in behind them from the feeder, I have seen 4 cars sitting here waiting turns to go after people.
