Jack Frost between NorthHampton and Shore Drive

Virginia Beach, VirginiaSep 19, 20100 Comments

Usually they sit on the side of Jack Frost between School Rd and Shore Dr. This run is straight except for a small dog leg, so they can catch you either way. The speed limit is 25 and it is easy to go above as the road is open, smooth, and runs a little down hill when heading North.

Potter’s Road

After turning east onto Potters Road from Lynnhaven Pkwy there is a small office center to the left. Police often hide there before you go over the slight rise. They usually target vehicles driving west to east toward Lynnhaven.

Leaving the landfill area one would see a 25mph sign, but a few weeks ago an officer, with radar, had a van blocking the sign from view.

Salem Road between Lynnhaven Pkwy & Ferrell Pkwy

Virginia Beach, VirginiaMay 11, 20102 Comments

Speed limit is 45 mph except for a small strip in front of the set back park (small park, big field). It is 35 mph on this stretch for no apparent reason. Park doesn’t not really front the street. Have seen numerous traffic stops here.
