Often (Especially when Lake Hills Elementry School is getting out, but also on weekends) there will be both cars and motercycles checking speed from driveways and streets along SE8th. Usually on the side of the street across from the school.

Sit in the entrance to Newport Shores Marina. Usually two bike cops but have seen patrol cars as well. Bike cops will radar you then step in road to get you to stop. Usually there only on nicer days.

Interstate 90 near Mile Marker 40071

On eastbound I-90 between I-405 and Issaquah, the State Patrol routintely traps with motorcycle cops (and the occasional unmarked sedan) during the morning rush. They blend in with the trees and bushes on the side of the freeway and are very hard to see until it’s too late.

I have commuted in the morning between Seattle and Issaquah for 8 years and the enforcement suddenly started in 2002 and was ridiculous for a couple years but has lessened since then. But I still see a motorcycle cop a couple times a month and only on dry days. After you get past Eastgate, it seems like you’re leaving the urban area and are tempted to drive 70 or more but don’t do it! It’s still a 60 zone and troopers on bikes are waiting for you.

Cops hide below the bridge on the side of the highway. The lasers will be pointed towards the oncoming traffic (to seattle).
