Morris Bridge Rd. near I-75   Tampa, Florida

Limit is 40 mph going westbound on Morris Bridge approaching I-75 jct. The road widens, and there's a large sign to the right. Cop can easily hide behind or near sign; perfect trap for those who think the speed limit increased or just want to get past other drivers. Trap can also work in the other direction to affect westbound traffic who merge too fast off the highway.

State Rd 60 East from the airport 6/7/2011   Tampa, Florida

This trap is really an ambush. I have never seen more cops in one location. laser with unmarked cars and motorcycle chasers. This was clearly abuse.with the new tech it took the cop a couple of minutes to write me a ticket. While I saw at least 6 other people being pulled over. The 50mph limit is unrealistic

I-75, nothbound in Tampa's City limits   Tampa, Florida

I got trapped by a supposed reading on a radar gun of 70.2 MPH during morning rush hour traffic on my way home from a Keys vacation. Not only did the city police stop me but he had a state police vehicle as a backup!! I had intended to ignore the ticket (my option was to appear in court and dispute the ticket) but there appeared to be a cooperative agreement between Florida and Michigan (my home state), and Michigan said, if I didn't pay, they would take my license!! Michigan, Florida and Tampa had an unbeatable racket going.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
