Officer is in a black unmark vehicle and sits back on several of the side streets. Especially the ones that are just past the curves on this road. Also, there are two motorcyle cops that sit in this area.
Halcyon Boulevard near Taylor Road
Montgomery Police Officer hides on PRIVATE property of Landmark Church of Christ and/or the adjacent property owned by a nuring home. Drivers are clearly informed by streets signs it is a school zone and the speed limit is a 15 mph limit between 7:30am-8:30am. After that time the limit is increased to 25 mph after 8:30am. Officers cite you a ticket at 15 mph "after" 8:30 am. Thus, make sure to check your watch and ask the officer what time his watch says.
US Highway 231 N near Congressman Dickenson Drive
MPD City Policeman in black car parks just on drop sign from 55 to 45 MPH right at entrance of Gunter AFB typically around 6:30 am
US Highway 231 near State Highway 82
Posted speed limit is 55 due to contruction, the construction is all but complete and almost never see workers there anymore. State Troopers, usally two (each facing opposite directions)are waiting motorists when they top the second hill just north of the 82 juction. Looking for speeders and seatbealt violaters. Excessive speed should never be tolerated, but this is taking it to the extreme.
Oliver Road near Bell Road
Posted 25MPH and will ticket anything above that. Motorcycle hides at entrance to college campus.
