Motorcycle cop on corner. Impossible to see the trap until it is too late. Both east and west bound. East bound is usually in the very early am.

Brandywine Avenue near Mendocino Drive

Traveling SB there is a there is a straight hill
(you can’t slow down) and the speed limit is 35MPH.From Sequoia down to East Main there will be CVPD hiding on the hills with guns. For every gun person there is a policebike for that person. But it would be the next police-bike to pull you over.Like I said a few lines before, you pretty much can’t slow down because of the hills incline.Best to start off at the Sequoia/Brandywine intersection at about 15 or 20 MPH and let your car roll.

Main Street near Third Avenue

Chula Vista, CaliforniaFeb 04, 20080 Comments

Traffic in both directions on Main from 4th to Albany travels at about 45-55 mph(posted SL-40MPH).Police cars are on the side streets of Banner,Del Monte, and Fresno.Because Main is a free-flowing street with green lights police wait at the Albany/Main intersection before the line to change the light.Once they find someone going over the scoot up to the line making it turn red for you. Then the police will turn onto Main and wait for your light to turn green. Then they pull you over after you pass and you may be written a ticket.

Eastlake Parkway near Greensgate Drive

Chula Vista, CaliforniaFeb 04, 20080 Comments

This trap is done the most when school at EHS is in session but there has been numerous times when it is just heavy traffic.Traveling NB on Eastlake(from Clubhouse to Otay Lakes) it is a downhill with two curves. Police park the back half of the bike in the median or bike lane and they have the radar guns mounted to the side of the bike. Also, they will stand in the median at Greensgate@Eastlake(where SB turners turn onto Greensgate)due to you not being able to slow down because of the traffic light, traffic flow, and the downhill curve.
