East Main Street near McDougal Terrace

El Cajon, CaliforniaSep 04, 20070 Comments

Several times a week, when I drive down East Main St (near McDougal Terrace and McDougal Way) I see a police officer on a motorcycle hiding on McDougal terrace near the stop sign. He watches the cars pass quickly on East Main. I have seen him pull people over almost every week. He is usually there in the morning hours around 7am to 9am.

Jamacha Avenue near Chase Avenue

El Cajon, CaliforniaJun 23, 20071 Comments

As you travel on Jamacha towards El Cajon or Ranch San Diego, between Chase and the HWY 94, there is an officer that hides with his lights off by some bushes. Fortunately I drive a classic car, and the headlights are better at detecting the reflective parts of the officers car. He is there waiting for anyone unsuspecting. Be careful everyone, those of you with newer cars will never see him in time. My wifes 2004 Maxima won’t even unshadow him until we are right next to him. The Police cars here are black and whites, but the bushes cover the doors very well. Sneaky sneaky……….The officer hides out there between 9:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M., the car is parked on the north side of Jamacha, right hand side, if you’re traveling towards El Cajon, left hand side if you’re traveling towards the Hwy 94.

Marshall Avenue near Bradley Avenue

The police love to hide behind the Gillespie Field Airport sign on Marshall Ave. between Bradley Ave. and Cuyamaca St. It is always two motorcycle officers and they pull people over all day long when they have the trap setup, which is quite often. They also hide behind the bushes just in front of El Cajon Flying Service which is just south of the main entrance to the airport.
