I-575 between Barrett Parkway and Chastain Road
Cobb County loves to sit on the northbound side in the emergency lane or in the center median prior to the early morning rush (4am-5am). They usually work in pairs and primarily focus on northbound traffic; however on their return trip from Chastain Road to get back into striking position they will tag southbounders heading for work.
I-75 between Hwy 5 and North Marietta Loop
Marietta PD sits on Allgood Road overpass and shoots laser at vehicles on I-75 S (posted limit is 65.) You won’t see them unless you’re looking up at what’s on the overpass. Laser operator nails you and radios chase cars to stop you.
Terrell Mill Road @ I-75 overpass
Police cars enjoy hiding on the painted divider on the East side of the overpass abuttement. Between the bridge’s structure, and the dip in the road, police cars are nearly invisible to Eastbound traffic on Terrell Mill.
