LMPD Sits in various locations near E.P.Sawyer Park.Usually have 2 or 3 radar cars. Sometimes sitting in the Parking lot of the Park facing Hurstborne behind small trees. Traveling either Eastbound or Westbound there are usually at least two cars that sit right up next to the tunnels. Most of the time I’ve seen green Taurus and a Red Chevy Pickup.

Bunsen Way near Hurstbourne Lane

Louisville, KentuckyMar 30, 20060 Comments

As you round a very gentle curve going toward Hurstbourne Lane from Embassy Square Blvd., you go through a little city called Forest Hills. The posted speed limit is 25mph, while the rest of the road everywhere else is 35mph. A sheriff sits, partially hidden by trees, at the mouth of the WalMart parking lot on the left, and you will not see him until it’s too late to slow down. Guy hands out tickets like free lunch!

New Cut Road near Auburndale School

Louisville, KentuckyMar 29, 20061 Comments

New Cut road is now a 4 lane road. Speed limit is 35 and very hard to do. Police are out in the afternoons around 2 to 5 pm. This is a School Zone area too

Hurstbourne Parkway near Bardstown Road

Louisville, KentuckyMar 29, 20060 Comments

The new extension has the turn ins for proposed developments, most of these have rock walls on both sides. Cops will sit in the ones located on a curve so that you wont see them until you’re already directly in front of the car.
