Louisville Metro Police car (usually either a marked car, or unmarked silver crown vic) hides in a vacant dead end street off Old Henry Road just East of the Gene Snyder exit.
Commerce Crossings Drive near Insight Communications
Speed limit of 25mph 5 to 10mph over will get you pulled over and ticketed. Very strict enforcement. Employees of surrounding businesses are ticketed regularly. Ticketing in this area was reported to be under investigation for improper techniques such as tailgaiting. No information as of yet about the results of the investigation or if it has been closed.
Northwestern Parkway near between 25 & 22nd Street
No marked signs until you have turned onto Northwestern Parkway and traveled at least 1/3 mile speed limit sign is
30 feet in the air obscured ny dangling wires unmarked
LMPD cruiser parks right behind the sign in the shadow of
buildings you have no time to slow down when you see the posted speed limit before getting clocked on radar.
Sherburn Road
This is the road behind St Matthews Mall that connects to Browns Lane and runs alongside I64. There is usually a St. Matthews cop sitting along this road, which is 25mph due to the apts along the road. They will pull you over for 10mph over, so be careful. Even though usually there in the afternoon, I have seen them there at all times of the day.
