Silver Spring, Maryland Speed Traps

There are 2 cameras one for each direction located near Cloverly Elementary School. They are on ussally during school time.

A white mini-van sits on the side of the road with 2 orange cones on either side with a side mounted search light and SafeSpeed on the side of the vehicle. No one is in the van, and it takes your picture when you exceed the posted speed limit (30mph) by 11mph (41mph). This is not uncommon due to the hill, and letting your car pick up speed gradually, so cover the break and stay below 40mph!

The cameras are located on both sides of of Wayne Avenue between Dale Drive and Sligo Creek Parkway.

Right befor you get to Argyle Middle school they are there mainly in the 1st week of the month!
