Redford, Michigan Speed Traps

Police will sit at different spots on Telegraph Rd. btwn.
Plymouth Rd. & 5 Mile.

Redford Police stop cars going east on 8 Mile. They stop for speeding. Each time I was going over 60 in a 50 zone but the ticket is given for Impeding Traffic The officer says there are no points I paid the tickets each time, so far no insurance problems.

When traveling West on Schoolcraft (I-96 Service Dr.) between beech daly and inkster, right down by the retirement apartments, there is a slight drop in the road, and a cop car hides near the bottom of the hill on the side street after the retirement apartment complex and before the big white house on the hill above the street, by the time you see him your already busted, so DO 35 MPH from Berwyn, The first freeway crossing after Beech Daly to the the other crossing after you see the police car if hes there. Its like clock work when people drive down there, youll see brake lights starting at the first crossing on the leFort

When your traveling north on telegraph rd. (I-24) and take the bridge over schoolcraft and I-96, right when you are coming downhill, look to the right by a Cars by Credit place which is closed, there is a side street there next to the closed building. Our good friends in the blue car are sitting there waiting for you to do over 45 coming down that bridge. I see people get nailed by this one all the time.

Redford Township police officers will sit underneath the railroad viaduct on Telegraph, south of I-96. The speed limit is 45, but most traffic does about 50-55 there in order to time the lights. Redford Police *will* stop you for doing 5 or 10 over.
