Historical Museum
One young officer loves to hide in the parking lot at the Olmstead Historical Museum on Circle Drive near Salem Road.
55th St. NW & 18th Ave. NW
If you are coming from Essex Park heading westbound on 55th St. NW the cops are always sitting in the funeral home parking lot waiting to get people coming up over the hill where it is only a 45 mph, but most are going faster than that. They will get you once you pass through the 18th Ave. stop lights heading towards Hwy 52. They are well known for this area any time of day.
19th street NW bridge
They like to sit on the on ramp to 52 noth at nights after 11pm I see them just about everynight when I go home from work
Willow Ct SW & 40th St SW
Officers sit just below a rise on the north side of the road. They use a civilian vehicle for the radar/laser and the marked cars cannot be seen until it is much too late. They pull you over after you crest the tall hill so other drivers are not alerted to their presence.
