Carrollton Police Motorcycles and Cruisers hide in the turn on the I35 service road just after George Bush Turnpike, and before Sandly Lake waiting for speeders on the service road trying to avoid I35 A.M. traffic….Very high catch area.
Impossible to see from general flow….easy to see from the Interstate southbound.

Marsh Lane near Timberglen Road

Speed limit is 40 on Marsh Ln until small stretch north of Timberglen. Speed is 35 and N. bound traffic is going down steep hill. This combo makes it easy to speed. They trap on both sides.

A radar is place on a side street just south of Blanton Elementary, shooting north or south…the speed limit is 30, and if you are driving north around the curve by the ampitheater, it is natural to “step on it”” and be going 40 without even realizing it…BE AWARE! 30 only! Just don’t hurry as you make your way to the turnpike!”

Old Denton Rd Street near Creekview High School

Going north on Old Denton Rd past Frankford, Creekview High School resides to your left upon passing Peters Colony Rd. Be prepared to go the posted speed limit or School Zone speed limit, because Motorcycle and Bicycle officers will be shooting radar as you come down the hill. The first trap existing on the street to your right as you pass Peters Colony Rd (behind the railroad ties). Once you have left the school zone there is also another trap once you pass Raliegh Rd. It exists right after you pass the nursing home on your right. It is in the back driveway of the gray apartments that carrollton’s finest like to hide behind the bushes there and shoot radar.

Belt Line Road near Interstate I-35

Belt Line Road just slightly West of I-35 on Eastbound side/South side of Belt Line. Usually (2) Mortorcycle Officers useing K,Ka and Laser radar pointed towards traffic traveling East bound approacing I-35 at least once a week.
