San Antonio, Texas Speed Traps

Beware Travelers!!! So with San Antonio’s slow you down super street on 281, their new tactic is to shoot radar on people travelling southbound 281 “From the top of the 1604 bridge” as 7 policemen below him on 281 pulling people over. Three pulled over at the same time, so far.

Beware when driving east on Medical going towards the highway, as the new pre I for SA north has just opened up for the school year. There is no school zone sign when heading east from Fredericksburg road toward interstate ten. The zone begins in front of signature ridge apartments and ends about half a block from the access road to I 10. There is no posted school zone sign (20mph 7-9 2-4) only a triangular yellow sign, like a children crossing sign. There is a school zone sign in the other direction, driving from the highway then turning onto medical. This is a new school that wasn’t there last year and most people aren’t aware of it. Its on medical right in front of the back entrance to Carmax.

There is a motorcycle cop resembling a bandido who sits in the median.

08/13/2013 Aprox 9:00 am. Officers on the New Braunfels bridge with radar guns aimed down at the north bound lanes of IH 37 passing underneath the bridge.
Multiple (at least 5) cars pulled over in the next mile of IH37 by San Antonio police units.

There were no less than 4 SAPD vehicles on this stretch of road this week; 3 of which were stealth vehicles.
