San Antonio, Texas Speed Traps
Dugas between Military and Potranco
Turning from Military into Dugas rd is definitely a SPEED TRAP. The speed limit is 30, so as soon as you turn the corner on to Dugas, your car goes down the hill so the constable stops you immediately, even if before you can start speeding. He is there in the evenings all the time, stopping and harassing people on their way home from work. If you have a nice car, you definitely get a ticket. Plus, that big fat guy is NEVER there when people are actually speeding through the flashing lights in the school zone, a little further down the road in the mornings. So he should go elsewhere in the evening or learn to fight real crime. He definitely doesn’t protect the neighborhood against burglaries.
On Military Drive outside Seaworld
Most of the time, there is an officer there napping–(I should post a picture sometime) but today 7-16-2012 there is a speed trap.
US-281 N Mainlanes by Isom Road
Saw a stealth gray Chevrolet Camaro with a civilian license plate beginning with "D3D" or "DD3" pulling someone over. Be careful when you see a gray Camaro on the side of the highways or in traffic with you
US-281 N Mainlanes at Isom Road
I made a left turn from Isom Road onto the US-281 N ramp & right there as I entered the freeway was a dark gray stealth 2011/2012 Chevrolet Camaro, lights flashing all over it with someone pulled over. The flashing lights were concealed in the grille and it is completely indiscernible to the average driver.
The police Camaro had private, civilian license plates. (How is this legal?) They were the new style Texas license plates with the license # starting with "DD3" or "D3D". I sincerely apologize for failing to get the entire license plate #.
Be very wary when you see a dark gray Chevrolet Camaro with heavily tinted windows and a license plate similar to the one I listed.
