San Antonio, Texas Speed Traps
Non-stealth SAPD Dodge Charger sitting on the right shoulder of the mainlanes right in front of Bjorn’s Audio/Video Store, just prior to Bitters Road but after the exit for Bitters Road
They are giving people speeding tickets for 1 mile or more over the speed limit late at night when you are traveling by yourself with no other cars around.
Officer on bridge at Hot Wells Blvd with radar, will clock you and another unmarked car on ramp will be the one pulling you over.
Stretch of road off of Wetmore, Jung Road, and Higgins. The officer’s vehicle is sitting off the side of the road. How does one turn onto Stahl Road from Jung Road; getting not even half way to the gas station clocked at 51 in a 35? Must have punched the gas petal to the floor! I have lived in the area for 28 years and have never received a speeding ticket. That was truly a surprize and a trap for me!! Nonetheless, I guess San Antonio is crimeless!! And the quota for this particuliar department had to be met?!
A motorcycle cop sets up here every single morning starting promptly at 7:00 am and stays there for two hours. Their is an alternative high school there poorly marked with none of the usual flashing lights saying school. Very rarely have even seen one child walking in the area. He gives out numerous tickets every single morning and often comes back for the afternoon 3-5 to give out more. Making sure we get that double fine ticket
