North West corner, earley mornings,monitoring Wall and 89

Just South of Costco on the east side of Wall Ave. the police are looking for drivers headed west on Chimes View (westbound one way street) not making a full stops and turning violations trying to turn left or right on Wall Ave.

Daily during the morning and evening commute.

This stretch is frequently monitored because it is a steep hill and people tend to either run down it at high speeds or up it while acellerating beyond the speed limit. They are particularly attentive to those speeding down the hill because there are really frequent serious accidents at the base of the hill at 12th Street. Sometimes, you get a warning, but more often, it’s a ticket.

The police sit in the parking lot of the Bexell Car repair shop, they look like a car just parked in the lot. I see them there every morning going to work at 7am. Monday to Friday. I have witnessed them taking off after someone. It surprised me the first time this happened as I didn’t see them, they blend in very well with the other cars parked there for repairs.
