Harrison Boulevard near 36th-40th Streets
Harrison Blvd is heavily monitored in an area adjacent to Weber State University, running from approximately 36th Street to 40th Street. A Radar-equipped unit normally is positioned at a small medical services plaza on the west side of the street, monitoring both north and southbound traffic. Backup units, which include motorcycle units in Spring-Fall time period, handle the ticketing. Most citations are for downhill speeding northbound from 40th Street intersection. Prime-time periods are during the 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM "rush hour," Monday-Friday.

Harrison Boulevard near 32nd Street
The city monitors and enforces slower speeds during specific school hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 3:30 PM) in a school zone which runs approximately from 32nd Street to the 3400 block of Harrison Blvd. Prime time appears to be from approximately 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM. Flashing lights denote reduced speed zone and times. A crossing guard was killed in this zone in 2006. A Radar-equipped unit sits at or near the Mt. Ogden school parking lot, or the first driveway immediately to the south, primarily monitoring northbound traffic. Backup units, occasionally include motorcycle units, handle the ticketing, with multiple stops daily. Fines are expensive.

Monroe Boulevard near 2nd Street
Police set behind the trees of the Everygreen Cemetary. People speed over the hill and they catch them. The Police set at the corner of 550 North and Monroe and pick them up so the Radar doesn’t even move.
Harrison Boulevard near Mt. Ogden Middle School
Officer sits in the parking lot of Mt. Ogden Middle School around 9:00 PM behind some trees so you don’t see him until you’ve passed him. If you have a radar detector and he gets you there’s a turn off right before him that you can evade him pretty well.
Interstate 84 near Mile Marker 85
The highway patrol sit in the median between trees on the emergency turn-around strip and wait for speeders in both directions.
