Richmond, Virginia Speed Traps

This trap is a bear. Smokey usually has his cruiser in a median facing southbound Chippenham Parkway (150). This trap is right after the speed increases from 45 to 55. This is located right at the Route 76 South Junction.

Cary St Rd West of Powhite to Three Chopt – speed limit is 30mph. Favorite trap is top of hill west of Malvern (both directions). Motorcycles and Cruisers used.

Just on the city/county line directly under the chippenham/50 bridge.. Usually in the median Its almost imposible to see him/her when your heading westbound… The speed limit is changes from 45 to 35 heading eastbound. SO ya might wanna be on the look out usually its chesterfield county police

Cars on side streets / Motorcycles on curb. Limit drops to 25 MPH on a four lane business section. Quite a revenue generator for the city.

I got nabbed for reckless driving while passing through by a statie on an enterance ramp. Watch out.
