Richmond, Virginia Speed Traps

Between Parham and Huguenot Roads (where the Willey Bridge is), the Chippenham Parkway is an expressway, but the speed limit is 45 instead of 55. A lot of people don’t notice and think they won’t get pulled for going 60–try to watch your speed here, especially since speeding on a bridge carries extra fines in Virginia.

Hiding behind bushes in the median. This little revenue generator is only 2 miles from where the speed limit goes up from 55 to 65. So don�t speed up as you leave the City just because it seems reasonable to do so.

In the "Authorized Vehicles Only" turnaround there is often a state trooper/Chesterfield County police. Have seen them taking pictures in both directions. Hidden well by trees that surround this tunaround.

Motorcycles and police cars are used on either university campus.
