Richmond, Virginia Speed Traps

Be careful on Semmes Ave going towards downtown. The cops are hidden behind trees on motorcycles. By the time they are seen, it is too late to hit brakes or slow down.

Police personal usually sit at the church drive way. The spot is in bottom of the hill so you do not see them. The speed limit on all roads in the area is 55, except on creighton it is 45. so watch out !

Coming off Powhite Parkway on to Chippenham, grassy area where police car sits. Have not been caught there but have gone by this area many times on my way to work and have seen police car there on average of 2 days a week.

Trooper sits well hidden on the right shoulder behind overpass, shooting radar south at northbound traffic approx. half mile after two-lane I64 West exit off of I95

Police (usually motorcycle police) sit on the Chippenham Parkway (150) near River Road. Speed on the Parkway across the bridge is 45 mph, but since it looks like a highway many people are going 50-60 mph.
