Just as you drive into downtown Vancouver by the Theater and 7th Ave. Motorcycle cops, hiding and will pull over for moderate over speed limit. It goes from 60 to 25mph so be careful

Cascade Park Drive near 2nd Driveway of the Mini-storage.

Vancouver, WashingtonAug 21, 20060 Comments

The police sit is the 2nd driveway of the mini storage business on the eastbound side of Cascade Park Drive (just off of 164th Ave and SR 14). If you are heading westbound it is impossible to see them because of a blind corner. You can kind-of see them coming eastbound, but the view is partially blocked by trees. It is 35 MPH in this area and they will nail you if you are even going 36. I lived on that road and saw it all the time.

State Route 14 near Lieser Street

Vancouver, WashingtonJun 04, 20060 Comments

State Police sit on over-pass using hwy information sign on
over-pass to partially block cruiser. This is usually done
by one car on eastbound traffic but can be done with two cars
in westbound lanes, too. Right now, this one is out of action due to repairs on Lieser over-pass but as soon as that work is completed, they will be back in action. It’s a cash cow.

162nd Avenue near Poplar St Crossing

Vancouver, WashingtonMay 26, 20060 Comments

The WSP motorcycle cops often stand on the corner of 162nd and Poplar (approx. 1 mile south of 4th Plain) and fire their lasers (ProLaser III) at Southbound traffic on 162nd Ave.

The road is divided with 2 lanes each direction and a field on either side of the road. The speed limit is 40 miles per hour while people routinely travel anywhere from 50-60+. This is a big revenue trap.

State Highway 99 near 99 Street

Vancouver, WashingtonJan 16, 20060 Comments

Just north of 99th ST on Highway 99, cops sit in the left parking lot of a Chinese restaurant and lounge. You can’t see them until they have you in their radar.
