Tucson, ArizonaJul 31, 20020 Comments

Laser equipped motorcycle cop hides on Alamo Ave near the Catalina Heights Nursery, where its easy for him to pick up west-bound traffic. Notice how pretty the five lane Pima st looks with its 35 limit? Careful at night starting at sundown.

Pantano and 22nd Area

Tucson, ArizonaJul 31, 20020 Comments

I’m not sure what they hit people with, but I live in this area and see it every night. On a daily basis I see people pulled over within a half mile range of Pantano and 22nd. To the south of that intersection you have a road with a 40 (it might be 45) mph speed limit on a wide, well lit, new road. To the north Pantano has no street lights and cops will get you near 22nd street. I see people pulled in the circle K all the time. To the east there is a wide open road with cops often hidden in parking lots and at the circle K about 3/4 of a mile away towards Camino Seco. To the west there is a large hill. I have often seen police getting folks coming down the hill. Be careful in this area.

Craycroft, south of River Road north of Fort Lowell

Tucson, ArizonaJul 15, 20020 Comments

Motorcycle cop hiding on the east side of Craycroft in Driveway. Speed limit changes from 45 MPH to 40 MPH just south of the bridge. He will catch you on radar just as you pass the 40 MPH and then pull out into the center and wait for you to pass him, then pull you over on the side street just past Fort Lowell. There most mornings.

Euclid/Park just south of Broadway

Tucson, ArizonaJul 14, 20020 Comments

Often there are five motorcycle patrols set up with radar with all giving out tickets as fast as possible. This is a recently improved and fast four lane road with limited access. However, the speed limit has not been raised above the 35 mph when 45 – 50 seems safe.

Speedway around U of A

Tucson, ArizonaJul 13, 20020 Comments

Look for around Tucson "UNMARKED" with all windows dark limo tint, Late Model White Camaro Z-28, Impala new front drive and a Dodge Intrepid. If you look close you can see the light bar in the back window and a small antenna on the back. Most of the time on Speedway around U of A, but I have seen them all around town. The Z-28 on I-10 giving tickets and at Campbell and River. North of River on Campbell in the entrance of St.Phillips Church. Look out red light runners he will nail you. I have seen the Dodge on speedway most of the time around 1st. av. with many a boom boom kiddy car pulled over. Look out! They will fool you, they "do not" even have municipal plates.
