Marietta, Georgia Speed Traps
Hurt Road near Shadowridge Drive

Shallowford Road near Lassiter Road
Officer sits in CVS parking lot at intersection of Shallowford and Lassiter Roads. Faces North West majority of the time, but sometimes also faces South East.
Stewart Avenue near Darien Way
Near the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Darien Way, the topography provides a blind spot where City of Marietta Police cannot be seen visually until you are virtually upon them. Heading east on Stewart Avenue, the speed limit dips to 20 mph for about 2 blocks, before returning to 30 mph. That 20 mph dip area is where the radar equipment is aimed. Only the drivers on Stewart Avenue are at risk, inasmuch as Darien Way is a short connecting street at a 90 degree angle to Stewart Avenue.
