State Highway 55 near Minnehaha Parkway
A marked Mpls Police cruiser sat in the median at the southern entrance to the tunnel underneath Minnehaha Parkway, monitoring southbound traffic. It was impossible to see the cruiser from within the tunnel, but a southbound car can easily check by glancing down the northbound lanes just before entering the tunnel. Your reporter was pulled over for doing 55 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Airport police cruisers routinely sit on the Post Road overpass and pull over cars going in both directions by the airport. The airport is in Hennepin County, but is not part of any city, and is under the sole jurisdiction of the airport police.

E. Lake Street near River Road
Coming over the Lake Street bridge from St. Paul (Marhall in St. Paul) travelling westbound. On the Minneapolis side of the bridge multiple units are often in place. Some sit on street and some sit under the over hanging parking lot area of the condominium on the right. Sometimes one unit just radaring and catching up but often multiple parked along street.
West Broadway Road near River Road
Squad parks under the railroad trestle near Broadway Pizza facing the westbound traffic coming over the viaduct by the Hamms Brewery. Afternoon sun blinds drivers. Traffic posts at 30MPH but incline up hill burns your retinas away and they tag as many as they can.
