Portland, Oregon Speed Traps
SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy & SW 25th Ave
Speed trap frequents both sides of the street here. Heading East on BvtnHlsdl the speed drops from 45 to 30mph as you go up hill and across the street there is often a car parked back on a gravel area. Drive very slow heading either way in this area.
NE Willow St to I-84E onramp
Turning off NE 60th to get on I-84E looks like freeway onramp with a soundwall on the North side of the street. Downhill approach with freeway straight ahead of you, but is 25mph zone. My first time down this road and I got my picture taken by a van. Not sure how frequent the photo radar is there, but was a surprise to me and my first speeding ticket in > 6 years. Must be a revenue generator because if it was for safety they would post the 25mph sign at the top of the hill and install a speed bump or 3.
Springwater Trail Corridor & SE McLoughlin Blvd
Just south the Strip club on McLoughlin Blvd, 60 yards just inside Milwaukie city Limits, Photo Radar there 2 or so times a week south bound lanes, some times a motorcycle cop with radar quarter mile south …. at second stop light…..
Milwaukie Expy & SE Rusk Rd
MILWAUKIE, OREGON Clackamas County. Milwaukie Expressway Hwy 224. Photo Radar south bound lanes just 100 Yards north of Rusk road. Shows up three to four times a week
SW Barbur Blvd & SW Pacific Hwy
Watch out ,when you get off the freeway exit at tigard the speed drops to 25 its on a hill and you barely have time to slow down.the sign is about 1/2 way down the hill by then you are toast .If you make it that far you will have to run the gauntlet all the way to newberg.good luck
