Third Avenue near Pine St to James ST
Third ave from Pine to James St is closed to public transit only during rush hour (0600 until 0900, and 1500 until 1830.) Several motorcycle officers and even sneaker cars will be posted along Third Ave from Pine to James Streets.
16th SW Street near Henderson Street
School zone blinking lights not always on or children present, but strictly enforced by radar.
US Highway 99 near Pedestrian Overpass
This is on the east side of Queen Anne at the pedestrian overpass. A police officer will stand on the overpass with a radar gun and then radio to his colleagues in vehicles parked on the sidestreets. They catch a lot of people. I’ve only seen them do this during daylight hours.
State Route 99 Aurora near 39th St. onramp Street
Motorcycle cops will sit near the stop of the entrance. They are difficult to spot because they are just over the bridge and there are trees. Watch out.
West Nickerson Street near Seattle Pacific University
Motorcycle police and SPD vehicles with no light-bars usually set up shop here, usually tracking West-bound traffic up the slope of the hill. They usually sit on the north side of the street in a small dead end around 9th Ave West. On occassion they will also tag the East-bound traffic from the other side of the street, just as you come over the top of the slope/hill.
