38 th Avenue near 7th Street

Saint Petersburg, FloridaMar 28, 20061 Comments

I have been stopped in this area once before and received a ticket.Police like to sit in an ally off 38th ave. going east with radar and sometimes they like to post what loks like city workers in a truck with a radar, then they get you in the parking lot of Albertsons. So slow down in that area or watch out!

Interstate 275

Saint Petersburg, FloridaMar 28, 20060 Comments

Going North on I-275, there can be found State Troopers lined up after the Roosevelt Exit to catch people speeding across the Howard Frankland Bridge. This activity is most frequent on holidays, baut can also be seen anytime the troopers need a bit more revenue. In fact, last July I was pulled over and the trooper statede to me “we’ve got a holiday quota to make – and you just make it ewasier for us”””

54 Av N Avenue near 19 th St N Street

Saint Petersburg, FloridaMar 28, 20060 Comments

From 16th St to 20th St on 54 Av N, motorcycle officer usually sits in the middle of the median hidden by bushes, with 8-10 chase cars. No warnings given at all.

McMullen Booth Road

Saint Petersburg, FloridaMar 28, 20060 Comments

As you come off of Bayside Bridge heading south the speed limit drops but people rarely slow down. The drop is unnecessary and poorly posted. The PO parks in the median right after the bridge before the first exit.

34 Street near 8 Ave South Avenue

Saint Petersburg, FloridaMar 02, 20060 Comments

Right Near Gibbs High School, they have a few lazer guns, and about 6 patrol cars pulling people over. Goes from 45-35-15-45. School zone lights are broken, so you think you are going the correct speed when you are not.
